These past few weeks have been nuts in mostly a positive way. However, I have been remiss again in keeping my blog up to date. So, I wanted to share some great new faces (and a few recognizable old schoolers) that I have seen of late. It has been a mix of agency and Instagram finds. So, I decided to not list the agency of the model. And, let you, the viewer, decide who might be an agency model versus an Instagram model that everyone thinks is fun to make fun of or put down. We all start from some place. But,for my taste, just show up with a great skin, decent body and a great personality (agency or not). I love shooting portraits, clothed or unclothed/fashion or no fashion . . . just be nice.

Throwback Thursday: Mario Adrion

I love me some waterfalls. And, last summer, I went a bit bananas. This shoot marks the downward spiral of my lovely Canon 5D Mk II. We shot in the waterfall. And, two weeks later, I was knocked over by a wave in Fire Island.

BUT . . .

that didn’t stop me from getting some pretty dope shots of Mr. Adrion. Playful, beautiful and a great model to shoot. Enjoy. Happy Throwback Thursday.

Editorial Feature: Sei So

Hello Trannies!!! Another day; Another editorial.

So, here is one of my most current editorials that has just hit the digital/analog bookshelves. I have been working as the new editorial photographer of men’s fashion for World Bride Magazine. It is an interesting job to say the least with my brand of edge coupled with their commercial sensibilities. But, the mix has proven to be quite refreshing. My job is to show the fashion/process that men have to prepare for that special day. Please check out the website for more information.Screen Shot 2016-01-29 at 3.47.41 AM

At any rate, I wanted to share a few out takes from our story and day. We have an amazing team at WBM starting with our fearless leader/editor in chief/owner, Myrdith McCormack. It doesn’t get any better. IMG_1789Followed by one of the most gifted stylist and Fashion Editor (and, now successful designer) in the business, Carlton Jones. The rest of our dream team that day was on hair with Nelle Morris; Screen Shot 2016-01-29 at 3.23.17 AMVictor Ramos on make-up. Throwback Thursday: The Future

Throwing it Back to the Fall of 2013, I was booked by Dutch Stylist and friend Ekaterina Razgonova to shoot a women’s editorial for PUP Magazine out of Amsterdam. We did a Blade Runner theme to illustrate the future of fashion. If you know my work, you know that I am primarily a black/white portrait photographer. However, this was one instance where I wanted the story to be in color. But, the editors wanted black/white. The shot below was one of the outtakes never used. NOTHING beats natural light. IMG_8242.jpg
