I was able to shoot the legendary Stan Jouk (RED) this past Spring for the May issue of Glamoholic Magazine. It is a must to see. The magazine is only a year old. And, already, Glamoholic is being compared to other top entertainment magazine’s such as Entertainment Weekly and People. You will find it in print and a special online edition. Check out my work please. And, support print magazines whenever you can. Thanks Bashar. And, of course, thanks to my team of Michael Stallings and Gregg Hubbard for the creative direction and grooming/make-up. And, a big ups to Allen at RED for setting this up with Stan. Stan is one of the last of classy male models. Thanks Stan.
I am just an editing fool this afternoon with a really really bad toothache. But, I wanted to share with you two shots. Of course, it is daylight. But, I worked with a new to me incredible talent, Roy Liu. He flipped 5 hairstyles in seconds. And, his make-up was flawless. He showed up on time and brought HIS experience to the shoot to COLLABORATE. In other words, he was no flake. And, what is there to say about Tobias? Mon petit champignon! Thanks Toby and Roy for making an otherwise long weekend into an energizing night cap to my shoot schedule. Now, back to nursing my ailing tooth. Happy Memorial Day Everybody.
Well, the title of this post sounds much sexier than the occurrence. But, Mr. Jeff Wolf texted me last night with the exuberance of a 5 year old on Christmas Day. He had a surprise for me. See, this is what I call a REAL photographic Drive-by. We both had no expectations. Jeff’s surprise was that he dyed his hair platinum blonde. I DYED . . . oops, I mean DIED. I quickly scurried to find some cool clothes. And, then, I realized, he didn’t need it. The HAIR was the story. Just jeans and an army t-shirt. Now, who can top this? In box me and bring a change of clothes and DRIVE BY the Harlem Studio trannies. Let’s do it. Thanks Jeff. And, Happy Thursday.
P.S. This was Jeff pre-BLONDE:
